Developed my first roll at home and somehow two frames came out

Did this in my bathroom on Saturday with a cheap tank and some Ilford chemistry. Most of the roll is a disaster. I got light struck edges on about a third of it and something went wrong with my agitation because a few frames have these weird surge marks coming off the sprocket holes. But two of them came out!!! watching them come up on the negeative whil it was still wet was so cool

    the surge marks off the sprocket holes are almost always over agitation. try slower inversions, like four in the first ten seconds and then four every minute, nice and gentle. you will get cleaner frames next time. also two keepers on a first home roll is a good first roll. post them
